Ornithoptera Paradisea Arfakensis

The fore wings are black. The wing leading edge is green. In the middle of the wing there is a large, green band.
The underside of Ornithoptera paradisea is green. The veins are black. Next to the wing tip there is a black area.

The hind wings of Ornithoptera paradisea are tiny, golden and have thin tails. The inner edge is black. Between the golden area and the inner edge there is a green stripe. The outer edge is green.
The underside nearly is a copy of upside. But, the inner edge is green and hairy.

The body (abdomen) is yellow. Head and thorax are black and green.
